(ADPnews) - Aug 11, 2010 - S&P on Tuesday upgraded by one notch to BBB+ its ratings on US coffee retailer Starbucks Corp (NASDAQ:SBUX) citing continued strong performance that is likely to be sustained through the end of 2010.
The agency also affirmed the A-2 short-term ratings on the company.
"Our ratings are based on Starbucks Corp's leading market position and excellent brand recognition in the specialty coffee market, as well as the company's history of strong cash flow generation," said Standard & Poor's credit analyst, Jackie Oberoi.
